15. mednarodna konferenca Indoor Air Quality in Heritage and Historic Environments

Vljudno vabljeni na 15. mednarodno konferenco Indoor Air Quality in Heritage and Historic Environments (IAQ2022), ki bo potekala od 14. do 16. septembra 2022 kot hibridni dogodek preko spleta in v živo v Ljubljani. Konferenco organizirajo Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za kemijo in kemijsko tehnologijo, Narodni muzej Slovenije in E-RIHS, Evropska raziskovalna infrastruktura za dediščinsko znanost.

Četrti mednarodni razpis IPERION HS

Do 30. aprila 2022 je odprt četrti mednarodni razpis za dostop do ponudbe raziskovalne infrastrukture v okviru projekta IPERION HS, kar vključuje metodologije, podatke in orodja za namen raziskav na področju dediščinske znanosti.

58 raziskovalnih laboratorijev v Evropi ponuja brezplačen dostop do več kot 100 znanstvenih tehnik za potrebe analize predmetne kulturne dediščine. Vključenih je tudi 14 arhivov referenčnih zbirk, podatkov in dokumentacije o dediščini.  Prijavitelj se lahko odloči za eno ali več ponudb iz platform ARCHLAB (materialne arhivske zbirke), FIXLAB (stacionarni laboratoriji) in MOLAB (mobilni laboratoriji).

Katalog opreme in pogoji razpisa so dostopni na spletu, prijave pa prav tako potekaj preko spletnega obrazca. Prijaviteljem pa je na voljo tudi pomoč za svetovanje pred oddajo prijave (userhelpdest@iperionhs.eu) in kratka video predstavitev. Prav tako v okviru slovenskega vozlišča nudimo pomoč in nasvete prijaviteljem-kandidatom: če vas zanima, kako se lotiti prijave, se za nasvet lahko obrnete tudi na nas (co@e-rihs.si).

Vabilo: 22. Strokovno srečanje konservatorjev-restavratorjev

Vljudno vabljeni na 22. Strokovno srečanje konservatorjev-restavratorjev, ki bo v ponedeljek, 23. maja 2022 ob 10. uri v prostorih Posavskega muzeja Brežice, grad Brežice, Cesta prvih borcev 1, Brežice.

Obenem vas vabimo, da si v Posavskem muzeju Brežice ogledate razstavo strokovnih plakatov, ki bo odprta od 23. maja do 30. junija 2022. Med temi se bo predstavil tudi plakat E-RIHS.si.

Strojno učenje za analizo zgodovinskega PVC

Raziskovalci iz Laboratorija za dediščinsko znanost Ljubljana so uspešno uporabili algoritme strojnega učenja pri razvoju računalniških modelov za identifikacijo in kvantifikacijo mehčal v predmetih iz PVC. Ta pionirska študija dokazuje, da je možna nedestruktivna analiza mehčal v razgrajenih PVC objektih iz realnih zgodovinskih zbirk. Mehčala imajo ključno vlogo pri razgradnji PVC-ja, zato študija zagotavlja dragocene podatke za upravljavce zbirk.

Raziskava je bila objavljena v reviji Nature’s Scientific Reports (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-08862-1).

Raziskovalci so z uporabo IR spektroskopije in kromatografije analizirali obsežno zbirko več kot 100 zgodovinskih in sodobnih predmetov iz PVC. Predmeti so se razlikovali po vrsti in vsebnosti mehčal, debelini, prisotnosti polnil, stabilizatorjev, stopnji razgradnje in zgodovini skladiščenja predmetov, zato veljajo za reprezentativne predmete v dediščinskih zbirkah. Rezultati tega dela kažejo na štiri pomembne ugotovitve:

  • Vzpostavljen je bil dober klasifikacijski model za identifikacijo štirih mehčal: DEHP, DOTP, DINP, DIDP, mešanico DINP in DIDP ter PVC brez mehčal.
  • Izdelani so bili uspešni regresijski modeli za DEHP in DOTP, najpogostejši mehčali, ki jih najdemo v naši zbirki sodobnih in zgodovinskih predmetov iz PVC.
  • Na splošno so bili klasifikacijski in regresijski modeli strojnega učenja, izdelani s spektri ATR FTIR, natančnejši in robustnejši od tistih, izdelanih z uporabo NIR spektrov.
  • Raziskan je bil vpliv numeričnega odvajanja spektrov na natančnost klasifikacije.

3D raziskave paleolitske konice

V reki Ljubljanici blizu Sinje Gorice v Sloveniji je bila leta 2008 najdena redka in dragocena 40.000 let stara paleolitska lesena konica, ki naj bi pripadala lovskemu orožju. V tem delu Ljubljanskega barja teče reka Ljubljanica skozi območje, ki je posejano s številnimi prazgodovinskimi koliščarskimi naselji, od katerih so nekatera tudi na Unescovem seznamu svetovne dediščine.
