The Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (https://www.zag.si/) is organizing a multidisciplinary summer school (1st – 3rd July, 2026), covering multiple-scale non-destructive techniques for assessment and in situ characterization of built heritage. A wide range of international experts dealing with sensitive heritage material will provide various cutting-edge lectures for future-led approaches in heritage science.
The 2nd International Summer School: In situ techniques in preservation of built heritage will take place in person at the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with no admission fee. The program is open to master’s students, doctoral candidates, early-career researchers, and professionals with an interest in heritage preservation. It includes expert lectures, guided tour, networking and social events.
The deadline for registration is June 5th, 2026, or until the maximum of 50 participants is reached.
